1984 Topps #51 Joe DeLamielleure PSA 9
1984 Topps #51 Joe DeLamielleure PSA 9 – An Offensive Line Legend (PSA 9)
The 1984 Topps #51 Joe DeLamielleure card honors one of the most dominant offensive linemen of his era. As a cornerstone of the Buffalo Bills’ legendary "Electric Company" offensive line, Joe DeLamielleure was instrumental in paving the way for O.J. Simpson’s historic 2,003-yard rushing season in 1973, becoming one of the most feared blockers in the league. Over his 13-year career (1973-1985), DeLamielleure earned six Pro Bowl selections, three First-Team All-Pro honors, and a reputation as one of the toughest and most technically sound guards of his generation. His elite play was recognized with enshrinement in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2003.
Graded PSA 9, this card is an exceptionally well-preserved example of DeLamielleure’s late-career issue from the 1984 Topps football set. The centering is excellent, the corners remain sharp, and the colors are deep and vibrant, making it a fantastic representation of this Hall of Famer’s legacy. Given the condition challenges of 1980s Topps football cards, high-grade examples are increasingly difficult to find.
For collectors of Hall of Fame offensive linemen, Buffalo Bills legends, or investment-grade football cards, this PSA 9 Joe DeLamielleure is a fantastic addition. As one of the finest known copies of this issue, this card serves as a tribute to a player who defined excellence in the trenches.
