Jimmy Sheckard was a standout outfielder and one of the key offensive catalysts for the Chicago Cubs powerhouse teams of the early 1900s. A patient hitter with excellent on-base ability, Sheckard helped Chicago capture World Series titles in 1907 and 1908 during one of the most dominant stretches in franchise history.
