T206 Piedmont 350 Clyde Milan PSA 4 – Deerfoot of Washington

A strong mid-grade survivor from the celebrated 1909–1911 T206 tobacco card series, the most iconic pre-war baseball release in the hobby. Distributed through cigarette packs by the American Tobacco Company, the set documented the players of baseball's speed-driven Deadball Era with vivid, lasting lithographic artistry.

Clyde "Deerfoot" Milan was the fastest man in the Washington Senators lineup and one of the most feared baserunners in the American League during his peak years. A roommate and close companion of Walter Johnson throughout their careers in Washington, Milan's explosiveness on the bases complemented Johnson's dominance on the mound to form the heart of the Senators' competitive identity. He set the American League single-season stolen base record by swiping 88 bases in 1912 — a mark that stood until Cobb reclaimed it three years later — and finished his 16-season career with 495 career steals.

This card features the Piedmont 350 advertising reverse and carries a PSA VG-EX 4 grade, offering solid overall eye appeal with moderate vintage wear for a tobacco card well over a century old. A prime representative of the Senators' swift, Walter Johnson–era identity on the bases.
