T206 Piedmont 350 Ed Lennox PSA 5 - A Clean Mid-Grade Example of a Short-Term NL Slugger
Though Ed Lennox never achieved superstardom, his presence in the legendary T206 set grants him a lasting place in hobby history. A left-handed infielder and occasional outfielder, Lennox played parts of seven seasons in the majors, primarily with Brooklyn and Pittsburgh. His biggest claim to fame? He’s one of the few players in MLB history to hit for the cycle and notch an inside-the-park grand slam—an unusual and memorable combination.
This PSA 5 example from the Piedmont 350 Subjects series is a well-preserved snapshot of early 20th-century baseball, featuring sharp detail, vivid registration, and a touch of corner wear consistent with the grade. The background’s sky-blue gradient remains bold, and Lennox’s uniform and bat are nicely defined, giving the card excellent visual balance. The Piedmont back is cleanly printed, and the surface displays just light, even aging—no major distractions.
