T206 Piedmont 350 Jerry Freeman PSA 4 – Best of a Bad Lot in Washington

A solid mid-grade survivor from the legendary 1909–1911 T206 tobacco card issue, the most celebrated pre-war baseball set ever produced. Distributed through cigarette packs by the American Tobacco Company, the release captured players from baseball's rugged Deadball Era with vibrant, timeless lithographic artwork.

Jerry "Buck" Freeman was the offensive bright spot on an otherwise punchless Washington Senators squad during his brief time in the majors. After hitting .362 for the Minneapolis Millers in the American Association in 1907, Freeman earned his call-up and promptly led the 1908 Senators in RBI with 45, hits with 134, and on-base percentage — making him, as one period account noted, the best of a very thin group of Washington hitters. One of those hits even came off the great Cy Young himself, spoiling a no-hit bid from the future Hall of Famer in one of the era's signature moments.

This card features the Piedmont 350 advertising reverse and carries a PSA VG-EX 4 grade, offering improved overall presentation and strong eye appeal for a tobacco card more than a century old. A compelling depth piece from a franchise just beginning to build toward greatness under Walter Johnson.
