1957 Topps #10 Willie Mays PSA 8 - The Say Hey Kid, Center Stage

The 1957 Topps #10 Willie Mays has a wonderfully different energy from many of his earlier cards. Gone are the painted portraits and oversized formats of the early 1950s; here, Topps gives collectors a clean photographic look that puts Mays and his unmistakable presence front and center. Issued during the Giants’ final season in New York, the card also captures the closing chapter of Mays’ years at the Polo Grounds before the franchise—and its superstar center fielder—headed west to San Francisco.
